A top-up is money you put in. It becomes collateral: it stays yours, it earns yield, and it sets how much you can borrow.

Xendit checkout in ringgit

Xendit Malaysia checkout for a RM 50 top-up, test mode.

When it counts toward your limit

The hold protects against a card payment being reversed after you have borrowed against it. See Card hold.
On testnet nothing is charged. FPX and DuitNow test pages have a button to succeed. Never transfer real money to a test virtual account number.

Your collateral grows

Collateral is held as shares of a yield vault, so its value rises over time and your limit rises with it, even before your score changes. The protocol keeps 20% of that yield. See Collateral and yield.
